House Allotment

All the students were divided into four houses  namely Ruby,Sapphire, Diamond and Emerald .Teachers were also given charges. The primary aim of this programme is to encourage students to work together, share reponsibiliy,inculcate healthy competitive spirit and enjoyment. House vice competitions will be held through out the academic year and a prize will be given to the best performing house.

Service to Mankind is Service to God

On 17^th  Februvary 2014 the students ,non teaching staff and the teaching staff contributed food packets to the inmates of Govt.Taluk  Hospital, Kayamkulam.

Art's Corner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The art’s club of the college started a new venture in the campus in the name of “Art’s Corner” to inculcate and develop awareness about art among prospective teachers .Twelve areas like Dance,Music,Drama…etc were given to complete the art’s corner board. Evaluation of the art’s

Corner will be done every week. Every week each optional subject students  are in charge of the board. All the students very enthusiastically participated in the programme.

Fostering Scientific Temper...............

A one day seminar on “ Acculturation of Scientific and Social Self: Nurturing Scientific Temper as a way of Life” was organized in the campus in connection with National Science day celebration on 6^th February 2014.The seminar was sponsored by Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment,Pattom and Department of Science and Technology,Govt. of India.In the inaugural session  presidential address was given by Dr. Sunnit Kumar,Principal, KUCTE ,Kayamkulam.The function was inaugurated by  Prof. George Varghese,Director,KSCSTE. Sri.M.Abdulla, Vice President CDC delivered the Felicitation speech. Themattic session included discussion of topics like ‘Scientific Temper as a Life Style’,’Scientific Research Trends/Gaps’’Effect of Liquid Waste on Agriculture’ and ‘Science Education in the 21^st century.Valedictory Session was inaugurated by Dr. Chandrika Devi Amma.I, Principal, KUCTE, Adoor.

Union Inaguration 2013-14

The college Union,Arts & Sports club was inaugurated on 4^th February 2013 in the college auditorium.Union was inaugurated by Dr.Varghese Perera,Syndicate member,University of Kerala. Art’s club was inaugurated by Master Minon,Cine artist; Literary Club by Sri. Raveendran and sport’s club by Sri.Somanath, Associate Professor, MSM College.The inagural function was followed by variety entertainments.

Health News

A one day seminar on ‘Health Awareness’ was organized in the campus on 22nd January 2013 in  association with National Rural Health Mission, Alappuzha

              Dr. Sunith Kumar .G.N,Principal,KUCTE Kayamkulam delivered the presidential address.The function was inaugurated by Dr.Ganamurali,Consultant Gynaecologist THQ, Kayamkulam. Topics included in the session included ‘Promotion of Normal delivary  vs LSCS’, ‘Life Style diseases and Remedial Measures’ and ‘Geriatric Care’.
