A one day seminar on “
Acculturation of Scientific and Social Self: Nurturing Scientific Temper as a
way of Life” was organized in the campus in connection with National Science
day celebration on 6th February 2014.The seminar was sponsored by
Kerala State Council for Science Technology and Environment,Pattom and
Department of Science and Technology,Govt. of India.In the inaugural
session presidential address was given
by Dr. Sunnit Kumar,Principal, KUCTE ,Kayamkulam.The function was inaugurated
by Prof. George
Varghese,Director,KSCSTE. Sri.M.Abdulla, Vice President CDC delivered the
Felicitation speech. Themattic session included discussion of topics like
‘Scientific Temper as a Life Style’,’Scientific Research Trends/Gaps’’Effect of
Liquid Waste on Agriculture’ and ‘Science Education in the 21st
century.Valedictory Session was inaugurated by Dr. Chandrika Devi Amma.I,
Principal, KUCTE, Adoor.
